First Date Poll

It seems the results are in and Bottega Cafe won by a landslide. I am happy to see that the non traditional style of date place did not come in last. Red Lobster. Sure, she might not be wowed by your choice but it could show creativity, imagination and a good sense of humor. Lobsterfest is back this season and nothing tasts better than a cold lobsterita. Birmingham has heavy hitters in the restaurant industry, Hot and Hot, Highlands, Bottega, Gianmarco’s and Ocean. But keep in mind some other places when picking a date spot, places that might not be your first thought. Little Savannah (how romantic), the outside at Fon Fon, the patio at Sol Y Luna, the bar at Satterfields, the oyster bar at Fish Market, the new location for Lovoy’s in Homewood, outside dining at ZaZa or Bellini’s. There are so many great places to eat in Birmingham so think outside the box next time you plan a date.
